The Everyday Style School is back from summer vacation with a look at what all the cool girls (that’s you!) will be wearing this season. As always, there are tons of runway trends being talked about, but in this episode I’m covering a few of the biggest Fall 2026 Trends you’ll actually see in stores this season. We’re talking about the colors that are big, the biggest trend in denim, a couple of accessories you’ll see everywhere, and the Fall 2026 detail I’m obsessed with.
Plus, we dive into how to wear the trends. From how to make low-effort trends like color look like an actual trend, to how to put more fashion-forward pieces into your wardrobe without looking silly, they way you style your new pieces is just as important as the pieces you buy.

We’re back! Summer break is over, baby. It is time to get back to business. And because we can all admit that refreshing our wardrobes was always the best part of the back to school season, we’re kicking off this semester with a look at what all the cool girls, that’s you, will be wearing for fall 2026. Let’s get started.
Welcome to the Everyday Style School, the show that teaches you everything your mom never did about getting dressed. I’m your host, Jennifer Mackey Mary. After 25 years of dressing women with real bodies, real budgets, and real lives, I know Great Style isn’t about following one size fits all advice. It’s about learning what works for you.
Hello, gorgeous. I hope you had a wonderful, wonderful summer vacation. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been saying it’s called the Everyday Style School. Maybe I should just take a break over this summer. And every year I’ve said, well, maybe I’ll just do an interview series or a summer short series. I’ll just keep it light and easy. Well, the joke’s on me because none of those things kept it light and easy.
So this summer I finally did it. I took a summer break. And the joke’s on me again because I did not take a break at all. If you have checked out our new website, you can see exactly what I’m talking about. You can see what we’ve been working on for the last few months. And I just have to say I am thrilled with the results because everyone needs a makeover now and then, right? We absolutely did.
And if you’re a style circle member, hopefully you’ve had an opportunity to check out how we’ve reorganized everything to make it easier to find our classes and to follow the roots of style path to get this style that you always wanted. And you can also see all of our new classes that are coming up. Our class on finding your best colors is coming very, very soon. Our class showing exactly how to put together a polished, finished outfit isn’t far behind. And there’s more in the works that we will share as it gets a little bit closer.
And if you’ve listened to me for any length of time at all, you know there is one thing you can do to look better and to have more style that doesn’t require you to buy anything, learn anything, go to the gym, get up earlier, nothing. This is so simple and it barely takes any time at all. And now the style circle is making it even easier to do.
But that’s not all. The biggest project of the summer is just days away from release. And if you’re listening to this after September 10th, it’s already out. Of course, I am talking about the fall style guide. This is our revamp of the capsule wardrobe guides.
We are going beyond just showing you what to buy and how to wear it all. We’re showing you how the season is really coming together as a whole with more in-depth trend information and a whole separate catalog of links to the trends that we talk about in the guide. We are showing you how some classic pieces have evolved, like loafers. What do modern loafers look like in fall 2026? And probably more importantly, what’s not looking so current? I know that that is the information you really want.
We’ve got visual examples for you to make it crystal clear to know are your loafers still looking on trend or are they looking a little bit dated? We have got styling tips for fall because buying the trending pieces is one thing, but if you don’t know how to wear them or what to do with them, you’re not going to get the most bang for your buck.
Of course, we are still showing you how to put together a mix and match wardrobe for this season, but now we’ve got a bigger focus on using what you already have and then kind of peppering in pieces that will bring the season to life rather than feeling like you need to replace clothes more often than you actually do.
And instead of just showing you all the ways that you can wear that top or that sweater, we are showing you complete outfits for the way you really live, whether you’re going to the grocery store or the office or a winery. We’re showing you athleisure outfits, everyday casual outfits, elevated casual outfits, and new for fall 2026, more workwear outfits. We heard you, we heard you, and we responded.
And this might be my favorite part. Not only are we showing you a color palette that is trending for fall 2026, we are showing you how to customize it for the four main color season. Yes, because a green for a winter looks different than a green for a summer or a spring.
We are doing everything we can to make it super simple to feel current and stylish without stress or struggle or spending a fortune. So if you want to check it out, we’ve got a sample guide on our website that you can click through. It’s like a magazine, it’s so fun. And that’s where you can find the link to the trend catalog from today. I will put that link in the show notes. You can go check it out.
The complete fall style guide is dropping September 10th, and we really, really hope you love it. Our team has put so much thought and effort into making this guide amazing. I’m super proud of them and the almost finished product. We’re still working on it.
Okay, let’s talk about fall 2026, what’s trending, how to look current, you know, all the stuff you came here for today. I’ve got a couple of trend disclaimers, and maybe these are new to you, or maybe you need a refresher, or maybe you can repeat them in your sleep. Anyway, here you go.
Number one, these are not all the trends out there. These are just a few highlights. I’m going to talk about some of the colors that are trending, a couple of accessories, the biggest trend in denim, a pattern you are going to see everywhere this season, and a trending detail that I love. But there are lots, lots more that we are not covering today.
This season, there’s a real shift in the styles that we’re seeing. And things look really fresh and different, I think, for fall 2026. If you are a style circle member, a couple of the trends that I’m talking about today are in the style guide trend report. But for the most part, the trends you’re going to see there are different from what I’m talking about today. I just want to cover and talk about as many of them for you as possible.
Along with that, though, I only like to talk about trends that are wearable for everyday women and are in stores right now. So your feeds, your social media feeds might be full of other trends that I’m not mentioning. And one reason could be that the trend just doesn’t apply to everyday women. Like, I don’t know how many of you are really wearing silk jackets trimmed in faux fur for fall. I don’t know. I would rather spend my efforts on things that are likely to work in your wardrobes.
But also, the trend reports that are coming out right now are from the fall and winter runway shows, right? There’s only two big fashion seasons. It’s fall, winter, spring, summer. So some of these things that you’re seeing just haven’t hit the stores yet in an impactful way.
Take purple, for example. A lot of talk about purple. As of the day I’m recording this, purple really isn’t in stores. There’s some, but it’s not like, wow, that’s a color we’re seeing everywhere. I have a feeling that this is one that we’re going to see more of as we get closer to winter and deeper into fall.
But if I was trying to put together examples of purple that are out right now, the shade that everyone’s talking about, it would just be a bunch of pieces from like the same three stores. And I like to talk about things that you’re really going to see everywhere after listening to this episode so that you can start to identify these things as you’re out and about and feel like, oh, okay, I know what’s up, right?
Of course, now after I’ve said that, next week purple will hit all the stores and you are gonna think this woman does not know what she’s talking about. And you know what? Hey, maybe that’s true. There’s always room for that. But I just like to talk about the things I can verify.
The last disclaimer, not all of the trends are gonna be for you. Maybe they’re not best for your body or your coloring, or you simply don’t like them. And that’s okay. Take what works for you and leave the rest.
But remember, if you don’t want to look dated, if you don’t want to end up looking dated, you need to keep evolving and updating your wardrobe a little by little over time. So keep an open mind, listen, and look for the things you do like, or ask yourself, how could I make that work? It often takes our eyes a little while to adjust to new looks, and they eventually do. And one of the best ways to get the most life out of your trending pieces is to adapt earlier. And you can’t do that if you don’t have an open mind.
Enough chatter. Let’s talk about the trends. Starting with the colors of the season.
Colors are funny. Sometimes there is one dominant color that is just everywhere, like you cannot escape it. I remember yellow a few years ago, and we knew that we had to put yellow in a guide because you could not escape yellow.
And then sometimes there are sort of a couple of big color stories, like you’ll have pastels and I don’t know, jewel tones or whatever. And you’ll see sort of these groups of colors everywhere, but they’re not one specific color. And then there are seasons where it feels like colors are sort of all over the place.
Right now, it feels like fall 2026 is shaping up to be that last one, kind of going into the group of colors, like a couple of color stories. But if you Google fall 2026 fashion color trends, some of the responses I have seen from fashion magazine style experts, like people who should know, are ready for this list?
Electric blue, scarlet, red, butter yellow, all shades of blue, plum purple, burgundy turquoise, cream, brown, navy, midnight. That’s a shade between black and navy, ivory, peach, moss green, all shades of green, berry, pink, tomato, red, and gray. It’s quite a list.
A couple of years ago, my younger daughter was in a production of Joseph and the amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. And I literally feel like that list is just the lyrics to one of the songs. If you are a theater geek like my family is, you know exactly the song I’m talking about. If you don’t, I will throw a link in the show notes for you to enjoy.
But I feel like the answer to what color is trending for the fall is yes. All of them, all the colors. So this is a time where I really do turn to what’s showing up in the stores to see how the runway is translating to real way, to see if something is shaking loose and becoming kind of the major trend.
And I, again, I think this is going to change as we get more into fall. It’s still pretty early. There’s a lot of sort of pre-fall out right now. But right now, what’s in all the stores is burgundy and brown.
And I don’t mean that these colors are dominating in every store, but of all the colors, these two are in the most stores. You can find it pretty much everywhere you go. And if that feels a little bit predictable for fall, I get it.
But that’s the thing about color. Unless it’s a really unexpected color for the season, like I don’t know, neon yellow, or a color that is totally dominating the season, seasonal colors often feel a little unexpected.
I say in every one of these trend episodes that color is one of my favorite ways to do trends because it’s easy, it’s not super scary, and colors don’t really go out of style. Color combinations sometimes do, and often a color will be gone from the scene for a while, like brown. There were a lot of years where brown was kind of harder to find, but it is very rare that you look at a color and you think, oh, that’s so five years ago.
So color is really a great low effort way to work a trend into your wardrobe. However, often low effort equals low payoff. So if you just wear a burgundy sweater, for example, it doesn’t necessarily look as though you’re really in the know and participating in a trend, if that makes sense.
So let’s talk about how to make color actually look trendy and current. And I’ve got five easy ways for you. Here we go.
Number one, wear more of it. I’ve said this before. Your brown t-shirt and medium wash jeans isn’t going to stand out as current the way a brown two-piece set or even a dress would.
Number two, wear it in unexpected ways. A burgundy handbag automatically reads more current than a burgundy top. Even putting trending colors on the bottom looks more intentional than color on the top.
Number three, combine it with another trend. If suede is trending, burgundy suede would look more current than the same piece in neutral suede. That’s what I call a two-fur trend. You guys have heard me say that a lot. It’s two trends in one piece. And it’s a fantastic way to boost the current factor of the pieces that you’re putting into your closet.
Number four, pair it with another trending color. In this case, I’m seeing a light blue being paired with both burgundy and brown this season. And it makes all three colors, none of which are like total standouts on their own, look really fresh.
The blue that I’m talking about is a little bit deeper and maybe a little bit more muted than a sky blue or a French blue. Like one of the articles that I mentioned, all shades of blue are trending. And yes, every store seems to have its shade. But this blue in particular makes both burgundy and brown look super, super modern.
It’s funny, I just mentioned a few minutes ago how color combinations can look dated, right? And if you would have asked me a couple of years ago, I would have said brown and light blue or brown and light pink are on my list of dated color combinations because I remember going to so many brown and blue or brown and light pink baby showers back in the early 2010s, and they all had that same kind of look that to me really defined the time.
And I’m sure that we were all wearing skinny jeans and riding boots with long tunic tops and probably a giant infinity scarf. So in my head, like that whole thing is very, very dated.
So when I was putting this episode together, I wanted to see if that actually did look dated. I did a Google search for brown and blue baby shower theme. And it was lovely. It was so pretty. And I thought, what was I thinking? That’s not dated at all.
It must have been all in my head. But then I did a Google search for brown and baby blue shower theme 2010. And you know what? I was right. That absolutely looks dated.
Are the colors different? Yeah, maybe, maybe they’re a little bit more muted this season, and maybe there’s a little bit more variety in the shades. But here’s what really stood out to me, and it brings me to the point of this little story and number five on the list, which is number five, finally, to make a color trend actually look like a current trend, you have to style it in a current way.
The 2010s baby showers I looked at on Pinterest, thank goodness for Pinterest. It’s like just the keeper of all the memories, right? They didn’t just look dated because of the colors. It was all of the things around it, too. It was the fonts that were used, the decorations, the patterns, all that good stuff.
And the wardrobe lesson is here, this is something I see all the time. It doesn’t just apply to color. You can’t just drop a trending color or a trending piece into things that aren’t current and expected to work. If your whole outfit looks like it’s from 2016 and you add the big color from fall 2026, your outfit doesn’t all of a sudden look modern.
And this is why I preach updating your wardrobe a little bit at a time, staying relevant, knowing what’s shifting so that when you do want to look current, you actually will. Remember, styles are one thing, styling matters too.
So there you have it. Three trending colors for fall, burgundy brown, and we’ll call it a muted light blue, and five ways to wear color so it actually looks like it’s trending.
All right, let’s talk about jewelry trends. Something that is popping up everywhere this season is long necklaces.
When I do these episodes, I like to go back and look at what I’ve talked about in the past, partly because I don’t want to repeat myself if I can avoid it. And then honestly, just partly out of curiosity. I want to see how did I do? Did the trend play out? Is it still going? Was it just a fad? Where are we at?
And I noticed that all of like the necklace slash jewelry things that I’ve talked about in the last couple of years did happen and for the most part are still happening. But it feels like this season, they’re just sort of coming together.
I’ve talked about pendant necklaces. I’ve talked about nylon or leather cords in necklaces. I’ve talked about beads and sculptural jewelry. And if you look at what’s out there this season, it’s all there, just in longer form.
So long pendant necklaces are big, long sculptural pendant necklaces are big, long sculptural pendant necklaces on nylon cords are big. It’s like a trend snowball coming into a trend avalanche.
I mentioned that we’re seeing beaded necklaces, and we definitely are. But if you are thinking, sweet, I have got so many long, colorful beaded necklaces from going to those jewelry parties 15 years ago. I am all set. I am trending. Hold up, sister. That is not what we’re talking about.
On-trend beaded necklaces are all beads, big beads usually, not the station necklace style with like some beads, some little metal loops, a quirky shape thrown in. Those right now are still looking dated. So if you bought it at a jewelry party a decade or more ago, that is not the trend.
And just a quick sidebar: if I sold you one of those necklaces at a jewelry party almost 15 years ago, I am so sorry. Not that the necklaces were bad, they were great in their time. I just really can’t stand that business model. And I am so sorry I participated in it.
But hey, at least if you came to one of my parties, I taught you how to dress your body shape with jewelry. So there’s that. And if you wish I could do that now, I can. It’s in our Art of Accessories class inside our membership. No overpriced necklace purchase required.
In the sample fall style guide on our website, you can see examples of what’s looking dated. I think again, that is just as valuable as seeing what’s current. So go check it out.
And if you are someone who wants to create long vertical lines on your upper body, this season is meant for you. But if that is not your body shape goal, think in terms of er or living in the ER. This is something that we talk about in the membership a lot. Just go a little bit longer than you’ve been wearing because there’s a lot of room between like a choker length necklace and one that hits your belly button. So we talk about the er, finding your sweet spot in that gray area.
Okay, next up, the pattern of fall 2026. There are a few big patterns happening this season, but I’m just going to talk about one of them today. Another one’s in the fall guy.
Stripes. Stripes for fall, groundbreaking. But actually, it kind of is. It’s not that there aren’t always stripes in the fall, but we usually think of stripes and florals as defining spring. And the stripes that are out there in the other seasons don’t necessarily read as a trend.
And just a quick note about what I mean by read as a trend. I don’t want to say that stripes in other seasons don’t quote unquote look current, because I don’t want you to think that if something doesn’t look current, that it’s automatically out of style. That is not what I mean at all.
What I mean is does this piece Stand out as new, fresh, different? Is it noticeably a trend? If you look at someone wearing this trend, do you think, oh, she knows what’s up?
Think about that. If you saw someone today in just a basic striped t-shirt as you are walking out and about today, would you think, dang, she’s trendy? Probably not. She’s just wearing a shirt. It doesn’t mean that her shirt is out of style or dated, but it doesn’t read as a trend.
So, how do stripes read as a trend this fall? A couple of things. Number one, the kind of stripe. This season we are not really seeing the basic, thin, even mariner style stripe. They’re not dated, they’re just not trending.
We are seeing bold stripes, double stripes, triple stripes, uneven stripes. These are all kinds of beyond basic stripes. That’s what looks noticeably current or trending this season.
But the other thing is color. I did a Google search for striped tea fall 2026, and the results contained very few ivory and navy or black and white results. Yes, those are still out there. Stores are still selling them. But what stood out to me in both trending aesthetics and the sheer volume of results were the colorful stripes.
There are lots of stripe pieces that use three or four or five colors, but even just two-color stripes look fresh because it’s not just navy or black and white and ivory. It is Burgundian ivory or Burgundian pink or brown and blue.
I’m going to add a bunch of examples to the catalog for this episode, but my best advice would be that if you’re looking at stripes for fall 2026, don’t just look for, oh, that’s cute. Look for, oh, that’s different. The more something stands out as fresh or unique to your eyes, the more it will read as a trend.
Moving on to denim for fall 2026. Everyone loves the denim trends. This season is all about the dark denim.
This is something that we put in to the winter capsule guide last year. I really pushed for this one, and admittedly, I was a tiny bit early on this trend. It was out there, but we kind of had to adjust our colors a little bit to add some medium wash picks to our catalogs because dark denim hadn’t hit that critical mass. It’s everywhere status yet.
This season, though, it’s different. Dark denim is everywhere. As far as fits and styles go, they are all over the place from slim leg to wide leg to palazzos. Barrel leg is still going strong. I have seen some utility styles and cuff styles, pull-ons, drawstrings, some embellishment, not really as beyond basic as we were really seeing, like in the spring.
I don’t really think that there is a single thing that defines trending denim for fall 2026 more than the color. Deep dark blue with no distressing. That’s where I would, and that’s where I am, putting my denim dollars this season.
If you are going for a more classic shape, like straight leg, bootcut, wide leg, even a good slim leg, I would invest here. This is a gene that can do a lot in your wardrobe and that you will reach for for a long, long time, even if it’s not the trending wash of this season. It’s not like it goes out of style.
This color can replace dress pants, like black dress pants in a lot of wardrobes, because they can be dressed up a lot with heels and a blazer or a pretty top, or you can wear them with sneakers and a tee. They’re just really, really versatile.
Now, if you’re going for a more fun on-trend style like barrel or carpenter or palazzo, anything that has less staying power, this is one you could definitely give your wallet a break on. Dark denim is also showing up in dresses, jackets, and shirts. So there is a way for everyone to do this trend.
By the way, pro tip: dark denim is notorious for bleeding in the wash. Don’t let that stop you from buying them. Just know that it is a possibility. And to see if your jeans will bleed or transfer dye, rub a piece of receipt paper, you know, that thermal kind, over them. Color on the receipt paper means color other places.
If that happens, soak them in cold salt water and add a generous pour of vinegar to help set the dye. And you can soak it for like an hour or two. And wash them on their own or with darker colored clothing the first few times. They just need a little extra love in the beginning, but they’re totally worth it.
All right, let’s talk about one of my favorite details for fall 2026 that I absolutely love with dark denim, and that is lace trim.
Lace and lace trim has been gaining momentum for the past few seasons. We saw it a lot on shorts this summer, which was really cute and fun, but not super wearable for a lot of women. It had kind of a lingerie look to it, which is tougher to pull off.
However, lace trim this fall is sort of a choose your own adventure. You can have a little or a lot. You can have lace trim on a t-shirt, a blouse, a dress, or a sweatshirt.
There are a lot of styles this season that are early 2000s inspired. And one of the pieces that stands out to me the most from that era was the Goldhawk lace trim cami. In 2004, I was working for a chain of higher-end boutiques. And that was the piece that all of the girls were obsessed with. And they were paired with low rise bootcut jeans, pointy toe heels, and an east-west shoulder bag. That was the look.
And you know what? All of those things are back or still around. But it’s a good reminder that things change even when they return. Low rise jeans, they are definitely back, but they are not the ultra low Britney Spears rise that we could not sit down in. I don’t think we’re going back there.
Pwinning toe shoes are definitely out there, but not in the super exaggerated, like wicked witch way that we were wearing back in the day. East-west shoulder bags, they are big, but they don’t have quite so many buckles and embellishments. The gold hot cami, however, is largely unchanged, although they do offer more styles now. I will say that.
The entire look, though, the cami, the jeans, the bag, all the good stuff, it’s just a little less than we used to wear. It is more understated, more refined.
But getting back to why I love this trend, it is actually super easy to wear. And it is one of those things that makes everything feel a little bit special.
I know I’ve talked about this before, but one thing I see so often and I experience in my own wardrobe is not having things that make you feel special or that don’t make you feel like you’re going to the office when you try to dress up a little bit, which is kind of hilarious because I haven’t worked in an office for over 20 years now.
But somehow when I get dressed for a concert or date night with my husband, I feel sometimes like I’m about to deliver a status report to the marketing team or something. Like I just don’t feel different enough from my everyday, even though my everyday has nothing to do with status reports.
Like I’ve mentioned many times on the show before, this is one of the downsides to having a lifestyle like many of us do, where you can wear a lot of your wardrobe across all parts of your life. There are really good things about that. You need less, you wear more of what you own, you end up spending less money.
But unless you intentionally put things into your closet that feel special and different, when the time comes that you want to feel special and different, you won’t have it. And lace trim is such an easy way to put something a little bit special and different into your closet in a really wearable way.
For example, a simple sweater trimmed in lace feels more special than a plain sweater that you would deliver the status report in. It’s a great date night option. A t-shirt with a wide lace band at the bottom paired with jeans boosts your brunch outfit in a way that a plain top and jeans just doesn’t.
Even for the office, that lace trim top under a sweater or a blazer gives you a finishing detail that you don’t get from basic tops. If you really want to feel like hot stuff, go for the lace cami with a pair of dark wash jeans and a little kitten heel.
I am even seeing the lace cami worn over a t-shirt, which I think is a super cute throwback for those of us who don’t want to, you know, be uncomfortable and bother with strapless bras.
And if you are thinking, whoa, whoa, whoa, a cami over a t-shirt, that is way too young, way too fashion forward for me. Friends, I saw it at Loft, Loft, aka Forever 37.
If that feels too scary for you, you could always do something like a lace trim sweatshirt. I’ve got one of those in my cart right now as we speak. And I have to tell you, these episodes end up being very expensive for me, but it’s a service I give to you. So, you know, you’re welcome.
The point is, if you want to feel special, if you want to look different from your everyday, you have to put things that are special and different into your closet so that you have them when you need them.
This is something that everybody can find a way to do. If you don’t want to do a lace came or a lace camei over a t-shirt, fine, do the sweater, do the sweatshirt, do the t-shirt. There is something for everyone here. It’s a really, really easy way to look special for your everyday. It’s just kind of fun. And I think style should be fun.
Okay, last trend I want to talk about today is a shoe trend. And on this one, I decided to go a little bit more fashion forward.
I know there are lots of women listening to this show who are not early adapters to trends, shall we say? And that’s fine. My goal is to show you what’s really wearable. And I think I do an okay job at that.
But I also know that there are lots of you listening who want to push the envelope a little bit and be a little bit more fashion forward. So I thought I would throw one of those in for you this season.
That one, that trend is satin shoes. This trend is mainstream enough that you can find it in a lot of regular stores at all price points, but it’s a little bit earlier in the trend cycle than the other pieces that we’ve talked about today. And it’s one of those things that instantly looks noticeably trendy.
So if your goal is a step beyond just trying not to look dated, and instead you actually want to look trendy, this is a great, still wearable trend to try.
And honestly, I don’t have a ton to say about this. They are shoes and they are satin. So there you have it.
But I will say we are seeing satin a lot in both sneakers and mules, not just like heels and pumps. I’m not really talking about satin evening shoes here. In fact, satin shoes look on trend when they are in an unexpected silhouette.
Like nobody thinks your satin bridesmaid shoes from ages ago are the hot new thing for 2026. You know what I’m saying? It’s the juxtaposition of a special occasion fabric and a more everyday style that makes them look fresh and new.
I want to go back to something I talked about in the beginning of the episode. This is another time where your trending pieces need to match or at least be pretty close to the level of currentness of the rest of your outfit and your wardrobe.
So let’s say your wardrobe and your style is very Talbot or Land’s End. I want to be clear, there is nothing wrong with those stores or that style. And I’m not saying those things are dated or out of style, but those types of stores and the way they style things, the way they put them together, isn’t super fashion forward or really even actively current, meaning in in this case, meaning like one step down from trendy.
Those styles and styling are more classic, if that’s a word that makes more sense for you. It’s a word I have tons of issues with, but I will accept it in this context. Again, there’s nothing wrong with those things. Please don’t come for me. Please don’t say, oh, Jen said everything from Talbot stated. Jen absolutely did not.
But if that’s your style, both the pieces you own and the way you put them together and you drop a more fashion forward piece into the mix, it just doesn’t work. It looks out of place.
But if your style is already current and your wardrobe is already updated, a cute pair of satin sneakers is a really great way to even turn up the trend factor for fall.
Now, if your goal isn’t to be a trendsetter or to be a little ahead of the curve, I would sit this one out this season, revisit it in the spring or even next fall. There are plenty of other wearable looks trending for this season.
And there you have it. That is your look at just a few of the trends for fall 2026.
Your homework for this episode is to head to the show notes, check out the sample fall style guide. In it, you will find the catalog to check out lots of links from all the trends we talked about today in all sizes, all budget ranges.
If you want more, if you want more trends, come get the guide. I think you are going to love what we have done. And then you get all the other classes and goodies too.
That’s all I’ve got for you today. It is so nice to be back with you after our summer hiatus.
In our next episode, we’re officially kicking off the fall semester of the Everyday Style School. I am really excited for this season. We’re going to be talking about how to stay stylish through everything life brings.
And our free workshop, Style Made Simple, took a little summer break as well, but it is back, and you can sign up now for our next one. In it, I will show you how you’ve been making style harder than it has to be and what to do to make it easier.
The link is in the show notes, or you can just head to the website, see our makeover, and sign up there.
I will see you next time. And until then, remember your everyday matters. So get dressed for it.
