If you want your wardrobe to be 100% suited to you–including fit, color, patterns, silhouettes…. but you struggle to find those things in stores, sewing your own wardrobe might be the answer! Maybe you’ve flirted with the idea of making an item or two, but you don’t know where to start, or even what equipment you’d need. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered!
This week, Whitney from TomKatStitchery joins us to break down everything you need to know to start sewing your own style!
Whitney is the creator and host of TomKat Stitchery, a sewing channel on YouTube. She started her professional career as a financial analyst with the Federal Reserve Bank, but discovered the creative joys of sewing after giving birth to her twins. Since 2006, Whitney has become an expert in all things textiles, patterns, and sewing. This expertise lead to the creation of her YouTube channel where she chronicles her own journey in sewing and fitting the perfect wardrobe.
