She started her professional career as a financial analyst with the Federal Reserve Bank, but discovered the creative joys of sewing after giving birth to her twins. Since 2006, Whitney has become an expert in all things textiles, patterns, and sewing. This expertise lead to the creation of her YouTube channel where she chronicles her own journey in sewing and fitting the perfect wardrobe.
