ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Jennifer!
My mission is to make style simple and easy for everyday women. I work with real women who need real wardrobe solutions for their busy lives (I know your life is crazy because mine is too). It’s time for you to feel good in your skin again.
I believe
That life is more fun when you like the way you look.
That you have better things to think about than what to wear each day.
That the right jeans can change your life.
That your wardrobe can be a catalyst for reaching your goals, not just a reward.
That buying more clothes isn’t the answer, buying the RIGHT clothes is.
That we as moms owe to our kids (especially our daughters) to take care of ourselves.
That every woman can be stylish, no matter her age, shape, size, or life stage.
That every woman deserves to feel fabulous, every. single. day.
A Little Bit About Me
I wasn’t made for this.
I wasn’t born to be a Wardrobe Stylist. In fact, I had a love/hate relationship with clothes. I loved them, but the feeling wasn’t mutual. I struggled with my weight growing up, and had a difficult body type to dress. Pants were too tight in the waist, but the legs were clown-like. Tops pulled across my broad shoulders. I wanted so badly to wear the styles girls around me were wearing, but no matter how much I bought (or how much I exercised and dieted), I could never pull my look together.
A twist of fate brought me to work at Chico’s, and my life was changed forever. The first day on the job, I was taught the 4 Basic Body Types, and how to dress each one. A lightbulb went off and I realized my body wasn’t strange, or malformed, or weird…it was just an Apple. A totally normal, if not super common, shape. It wasn’t my body that was wrong, it was the pants I was buying. Once I discovered HOW to dress my body, my love affair with clothes was on! Oh, and I also learned how to do the same for others. In my time at Chico’s, I personally dressed thousands of women.
I went on to work for a chain of high-end boutiques and Gap Maternity before leaving the corporate world when I had my daughter. There isn’t a body or wardrobe challenge I haven’t seen!
